DAK RECEIPT

Receipt of dak. (i) During office hours, the entire dak of a department/office including that addressed to Officers by name, will be received in the Central.
DAK DESPATCH

A computerised system for centrally diarising the incoming dak of all the sections/wings in CAG office for Receipt & Issue section has been developed and implemented in the office of CAG. In this system, the dak need not be scrutinized section wise, which was earlier being done manually. And a system for monitoring letters and parcels dispatched from Receipt & Issue section, received from various sections has been developed and implemented in the office of CAG. The system has eliminated the maintenance of manual registers and diaries etc ..

The system is able to handle all types of Incoming and Outgoing correspondences and has in-built configurable access control and suitable security measures.It also track the inward / outward movement of the documents, files, letters and circulars etc. within the various departments and units and external parties associated with the lab. It is able to provide instant tracking of any letter which may be incoming and outgoing one, on the basis of various parameters like date, subject, file number, section etc. generating a unique reference number of the same.
